The London branch of Selfridges is normally open at 9.30am until 8pm Monday to Saturday. It opens one hour later on Thursday for "late night shopping" and closes its doors at 9pm.

Because of British Sunday trading laws Selfridges opens its doors at a much later time of 11.30am on Sunday and closes them at 6.30pm. The time between 11.30am and 12 noon is for browsing only. The cash tills do not open until 12 noon. Yes I know this is silly but that is the law. It gives you time to have an extra hour in bed and a nice Sunday Brunch before having to do battle with the weekend shoppers in Oxford Street.

There are days when these times may change for example at Christmas, for special events and during the "winter sales".
